It's that time. Our January dataset spotlight here at DoltHub. For the new folks, Dolt is a SQL database with git-like versioning and DoltHub is a place on the internet to share Dolt databases. This monthly feature keeps you updated on Data Bounties and popular Dolt databases.

Hospital Price Transparency

Bounty: $10,000
End Date: March 1, 2021
On January 1, 2021, a US law was passed requiring hospitals to publish their prices in human and machine readable format. We are assembling the best open dataset of hospital prices in the US to aid researchers. The bounty started January 14 and ends March 1. So far, we have 79 hospitals and 13,510 procedures covered. Lots more work to do.
US Presidential Election Precinct Results

End Date: February 14, 2021
The goal of this bounty is to create a database of US presidential precinct-level results from 2016 and 2020. The bounty started December 14, 2020 and runs to February 14, 2020. We've had 12.8M cells edited in the bounty. All 2016 states are covered. We are up to 29 states covered for 2020. Plenty of work left to do and thus, bounty to win.
